Ten second place winners each receive an MX-3000 and MRF-300 valued at $1,198 – all prizes provide by Universal Remote Control Inc.! The goal? $5,000 cash, an MX-3000 color touchscreen remote control, plus the MRF-300 multi-zone basestation for the grand prize winner, total value of $6,198. Second prize winners would be awarded unique recognition for their work, such as categories for “Originality”, “Best Animation”, “Best Use of Sound”, “Funniest” etc. The Grand Prize winner would be evaluated on many aspects, including originality (how unique the design and graphics are), layout (button placement and ergonomics) and quality (overall “fit and finish” of the file).
